Unique chemical darkroom prints on Fiber-based Silver Gelatin paper, various sizes
In Overlays, I’m using multiple photographic exposures to mark and map terrain. The contrast between landscape and patterned graphic form disrupts the view and on occasion even obliterates the horizon. This work documents a transition for me and for my work moving from landscape-based imagery to abstraction as I relocated from a rural California town to New York City.
