Strange Time

Seattle, WA | April 2025

Strange Time showcases novel timekeeping devices alongside poetic representations and commentaries on time. We invite viewers to imagine a weirder physics of time, and thereby conceive of new ways of being, free of the rigid structure imposed by the ticking clock.

"The photographs in Slumber offer evidence of bodies in repose and unrest cocooned in their private environments. Made overnight the images are the result of long exposures that blur the details of the inhabitants in each frame, recording snatches of movement and the scumbled forms of bodies over time."

Trio at Kenektid X Gallery offers three ongoing perspectives on the pandemic. I’m thrilled to be included in this group exhibition showing Slumber alongside wonderful works by Alexa Hoyer and Hyewon Park.

Grey Matter opens November of 2021 at the John and June Allcott Gallery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This reframing of a series of darkroom drawings created over the past 5 years will incorporate recent animation collaborations with Shelby Wilson.
